San Bernardino Chess from March 29 in Switzerland

Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2012

Hi everyone,

More chess news for those interested in playing in Switzerland. The 2nd San Bernardino Holyday Chess Open & Chess Challenger will take place from March 29 to April 1 at Hotel Bellevue in San Bernardino, Switzerland. Grandmasters Atanas Kolev, Nikolai Legkiy and Regina Pokorna are some of the top players who are already registered to participate.

San Bernardino is a mountainous village in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. It is the southern entry point to the San Bernardino tunnel, that complemented the road over the San Bernardino Pass in 1967, opening a new all-year-round road to crossing the alps.
