Hello Everyone,

Right after the 39th Chess Olympiad, the next big chess action is going to be in Bilbao. You don't have to wait much. It begins tomorrow. Here is the official website of the Bilbao Final Masters Chess, 2010.

The third final of this Grand Slam Masters Chess Series will be played October 9-15. Playing in this year’s final are Viswanathan Anand, current world Champion and ranked number 2; Magnus Carlsen, winner of the Wijk aan Zee, Nanjing and Bazna tournaments and current world number one; Alexei Shirov, best Spanish player and tenth in the world rankings, and Vladimir Kramnik, ranked fifth in the world. Shirov and Kramnik both qualified after placing first and second respectively in the preliminaries held in Shanghai from September 3 to 8.

This year’s Final will be played at Alhondiga Bilbao along with the daily rapid tournament and the Friendship Blitz Team Tournament.

The games will be streamed live at the official website. There is also a facebook page and a twitter account too for fans. Fans can ask questions during the games via twitter and facebook.
