Kolkata Chess Open for 2200+ Rating from March 18-27 in India
There's an international chess open happening in India this March - the Alekhine Chess Club, Kolkata, is hosting the 19th edition of the Kolkata International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament, with a $22,500 prize fund, from March 18-27. Entry to the event is open to chess players with a rating 2200 and above.
Prominent players who participated in the last edition of the tournament are Radoslaw Wojtaszek of Poland, Anton Korobov of Ukraine, Sergei Tiviakov of Nederlands, Ni Hua of China SS Ganguly, Sandipan Chanda, Abhijeet Gupta, SP Sethuraman and B.
