Google Glass used for first time in Chess Simul

Chess Blog for Daily Chess News and Trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2013

Hello everyone,

Have you seen the latest Class Action Films 9-minute video featuring footage shot by New Orleans chessmaster Jude Acers as he wore Google Glass at a recent chess simul exhibition? It may be the first time Google Glass (still in prototype) has been used to record video of a chessmaster's point-of-view during a simul.

There's a Kickstarter campaign as well dedicated to raising money to send two members of film crew to Croatia to document Acers attempt to win the FIDE World Senior Chess Championship in November. Also read what Chess blogger The Armchair Warrior has to say about "The Man in the Red Beret":

The Kickstarter project presently stands at 75% of funding with 10 days left to reach its goal.

Another fun video with New Orleans chessmaster Jude Acers. Take a seat and meet Jude and the cast of characters who pay him $5 a game.
