Marija Rakic is Serbia Women's Chess Champion 2012

Hi everyone,

The 2012 Serbian Women’s Chess Championship was held from 22nd March to 1st April in Kac. Twelve players competed in the round robin tournament. WIM Marija Rakic assumed an early lead and maintained the top position throughout the tournament to finally take the first place and claim the title of the national champion. Rakic finished with 8.0/11 points, half a point clear from the top seeded WGM Andjelija Stojanovic and WGM Marija Manakova.
