Hi everyone,

Here is the chess news update from the Mumbai Mayor's Cup Chess Tournament. Belarussian Grandmaster Aleksej Aleksandrov has extended his lead to a full point after 10 rounds. He beat India's M S Thejkumar in the penultimate round. Aleksandrov needs just a draw in the last round to win the title. GM Martyn Kravtsiv of Ukraine is at second place with eight points. He beat GM Marat Dhumaev. Seven players are tied at the third spot with 7.5 points each going into the final day.

Here are the top two interesting games sent to us from Round 10 by Black and White Chess Magazine from India.

Very steady performance by Aleksandrov. Difficult to achieve this amidst the depth of Indian chess.
