Hou Yifan wins second women's chess grand prix 2011/12 in Shenzhen

Hello everyone,

More chess news coming in from China - Shenzhen to be precise. Hou Yifan won the 11th round and the Women's Chess Grand Prix on Monday with a nice score of 8 points. All the games were drawn in the last round except Viktorija Cmilyte beating Zhu Chen and Munguntuul Batkhuyag beating Yildiz Betul Cemre. 



Hou Yifan drew her last-round game with Elina Danielian for a clear first. She notched up and fixed a first place in the tournament with five wins and six draws. Slovenian player Anna Muzychuk also drew with Ju Wenjun to take the second spot. Tan Zhongyi drew with Ruan Lufei to share the third place with Wenjun.
