Preparations on for Women's World Chess Championship

Hello Everyone,

The year 2010 will conclude with great women's chess action in December. Hope you have already marked your calendar for the Women's World Chess Championship to be held in Hatay, Turkey 2-25 December 2010.

Fide has also released the initial list of qualifiers. Here they are:

    ..and I think Nadezhda Kosintseva will/should get an invitaion from the FIDE president, as I don't see her on the list.

    But would she actually play? I thought Judit still basically Boycotted Women's only events; of course that would open a space for Nadezhda Kosintseva. Oh Well I would think the Women's Champions from the Olympiad would be invited, as a group, (Course your already in there, but to pay respect to your accomplishment.) Blessings, BB.
