September 18, 2008 is a special date. It was on this day, in Nalchik, that Russia's Chess Queen™ Alexandra Kosteniuk was crowned the 12th Women's World Chess Championship beating China's Hou Yifan. Incidentally, Hou Yifan - on her part - is right now leading in the ongoing Women's World Chess Championship 2013 against Anna Ushenina of Ukraine in China.

wow - yes cool the day my favourite Grandmaster got to top of chess world - i suppose the last game was played on sept 17 and the ceremony was held on 18. I hope one day you become world champion second time Chess Queen it is so possible for you.
