The latest chess tournament news via Fide is that the the 13th Karpov Poikovsky chess tournament will take place from September 27-October 8 in Poykovskiy, in the Autonomous Okrug Ugra region of Russia. Ten Grandmasters will compete in the round robin event. Defending champions Etienne Bacrot and Sergey Karjakin will not participate this time.
