Best Chess Coach Fide Prize for GM Arshak Petrosian for Second Time

GM Arshak Petrosian
It is for the second time that Armenia men's national chess team coach GM Arshak Petrosian has been awarded the Mikhail Botvinnik Best Chess Coach Medal for 2001 by Fide. The Armenian GM receives the medal for the second time.
He had won the medal the last time in 2008 when the Armenia national chess team had won the World Chess Olympiad for the second time. Petrosian is the head coach of the Armenia national chess team of Armenia which had won the world team chess championship in China in 2011.

GM Arshak B. Petrosian earned his GM title in 1984, won the Armenia national chess championship twice in 1974 and 1976.
