the name is enough - Gary Kasparov. Frankly, I would say there are only few world chess champions who have a personality - Gary Kasparov, Magnus Carlsen, Alexandra Kosteniuk, Anatoly Karpov, Maia Chiburdanidze, and Vladimir Kramnik. (Hou Yifan would make the list soon enough and yes Carlsen would be world champion eventually.)
