Ding Liren Wins Third China National Chess Title

Hi everyone,
 

Ding Liren has won the Chinese Championship in Xinghua, China. for the third time in four years. The grandmaster won the title in an impressive field, Seventeen-year-old Yu Yangyi was second. In the women's section Huang Qian edged out Zhang Xiaowen on tiebreak. 
The event took place from March 26 to April 7. In the 12 -player round robin, the Women's World Champion participated in the open section. You can find a nice round-up report and chess games at ChessVibes. If you are comfortable reading Chinese, then the place to go is here.
