IM Oliver Barbosa has won the Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah Invitational Chess Masters in Malaysia ahead of Grandmasters. He now becomes a grandmaster himself. How cool.
The DYTM Raja Dr. Nazrin Shah Invitational Masters actually gave the chess planet another grandmaster - Richard Bitoon and confirming one International Master in Uzbekistan’s Jahongir Vakhidov. It was held at the Swiss Garden Hotel in Kuala Lumpur from September 4-10.
