The chess news from Day 2 at the Accentus Biel Grandmasters event was exciting with Carlsen beating Shirov and Caruana self-destructing against Morozevich. The third game was a draw. As you know, the 2011 Biel Chess Festival is taking place from July 16-29 in Switzerland. Here are the exciting games of Day 2. After two rounds we have Magnus Carlsen with a perfect score of two wins. According to the special scoring pattern, Carlsen leads with 6/2, Morozevich is at 4, Caruana at 2 and Shirov, Vachier-Lagrave plus Pelletier at 1 point each. You probably meant Vachiere-Lagrave instead of Caruana in your title.
