Biel Chess 2011 R5: Vachier-Lagrave beats Carlsen, Caruana loses to Morozevich

Hi everyone,




The latest chess news from the Accentus Biel Grandmasters' Chess Tournament 2011 was not too great for Magnus Carlsen fans in the sixth round. Though French GM Maxime Vachier-Lagrave's fans rejoiced. The latter beat Carlsen keeping his head cool and focused on a game that went almost to 100 moves!


The other decisive game saw Yannick Pelletier and Alexei Shirov drea their game while Fabiano Caruana lost to Alexander Morozevich. You can access the official website at this link.

    There is this gay fun wanton spirit of Carlsen that makes his losses so less painful and his wins so much more gratifying.
