FIDE has just announced the list of players for the 1st tournament of the Women's Grand-Prix 2011-2012 in Rostov, Russia (1-15 August 2011):
01. Hou Yifan (CHN)
02. Humpy Koneru (IND)
03. Nadezhda Kosintseva (RUS)
04. Tatiana Kosintseva (RUS)
05. Anna Muzychuk (SLO)
06. Katrina Lahno (UKR)
07. Alexandra Kosteniuk (RUS)
08. Antoaneta Stefanova (BUL)
09. Elina Danielian (ARM)
10. Alisa Galliamova (RUS)
11. Luan Rufei (CHN)
12. Ekaterina Kovalevskaya (RUS)
The winner of the Women's Grand-Prix Series 2011-2012 will challenge the World Champion for the title in December 2013.
