Hello everyone,
The Commonwealth Chess Championships are being held from June 25 to July 4 in the Emperors Palace Hotel in Ekurhuleni, South Africa. The players include more than 700 participants including more than 40 titled players with three-time champion GM Nigel Short from England being the top seed. After five rounds, the tournament is now jointly led by top seed GM Nigel Short, IM Sahej Grover, GM Jones Gawain, Nat Nicholas and Providence. Sahej Grover will meet Nigel Short in the sixth round.
