Another strong women's chess tournament begins in Bucharest

Before you start worrying about what you would do once the Women's Chess Grand Prix ends today in Doha, let's tell you all die-hard women chess fans - nothing to worry!

A new closed chess event for women begins in Bucharest today. The interesting part is that it's a pretty strong tournament in itself. Consider this: The average rating at the ongoing sixth women's chess grand prix in Doha, Qatar is 2490.9 and the average of the women's tournament in Bucharest is 2454.8!
