Hello Everyone,

It's not every day you find such lovely chess photos - do you?

We found them in this nice pictorial story at www.chessbase.com about the Odessa City Chess Birthday Celebrations.

Odessa is in Ukraine where chess is very popular. Chess plays an important role in the local socio-cultural setting. Odessa was founded 116 years ago. The celebrations - this year - included simuls, a live chess match and several other chess events.

And, some photos from last year's celebrations.
