Hello Everyone,

All those who thought the Young Stars were going to have it easy after a nice third round 4-1 score against the Experience team of senior grandmasters had to change their mind after the fourth round.

The team of Experience scored wins by Ljubomir Ljubojevic, Peter Heine Nielsen and Peter Svidler to beat the youngsters 3½-1½ in the fourth round at the NH Tournament.

The NH Chess Tournament is taking place from August 12-22 in Hotel Krasnapolsky, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As always, the tournament is a confrontation between a team of five young ‘Rising Stars’ and a team of five ‘Experienced’ grandmasters.

The best player of the ‘Rising Stars’ team will be invited to the 20th Amber Blindfold and Rapid Tournament in March 2011 in Nice, provided he or she scores over 50% in the NH Chess Tournament in Amsterdam. You can check the official website for some great photos and reports. You can also read more details in our previous blog entry.

Here is a nice game from the fourth round between Ljubojevic and So. Run the moves in our pgnplayer or watch in flash below.
