43rd Biel Young Masters Chess Tournament begins

Maxime Vachier-Lagrave: Top seed at Biel Young Masters

Hello Everyone,

The Biel Young Masters Chess Tournament has begun in Switzerland. The invitational event includes 10 young chess masters from around the world - aged 16 to 23 - all rated above 2600.

The first round saw only two decisive games while the rest were all draws.
