Mandela Memorabilia Auction features Special Chess Set

Hello chess blog friends, a special chess set as part of auction of Nelson Mandela memorabilia has taken place in Johannesburg, South Africa. The chess set - of figures from either side of the apartheid battle - was auctioned along with several other items. Googling around we found this interesting 'wobble chess set'. Designed by Adin Mumma, this beautifully made concave board causes the rounded pieces to wobble and quiver, providing an unexpected element to a timeless favorite. Made in China with cherry and maple wood. The pieces have chromed bases. We're not sure if you can focus on the chess set but if you give it a try, do let us know.
