GM Dusan Popovic Wins Ilok Chess Rapid in Croatia

Hi everyone,

News site Chessdom has just reported that International Chess Festival Ilok 2012 was held on September 16 at the elementary school in Ilok, Croatia. The main event was the Rapid tournament with 102 participants from five countries. GM Dusan Popovic from Serbia took a clear first place with 7.5 points, half a point ahead of the group of followers. 10 Grandmasters and 11 International Masters competed.
