World Chess Championship (Women's) 2012 Qualifiers' List Announced

Women's World Chess Championship 2012 initial list of qualifiers has been announced by Fide. FIDE is publishing the players' contract for the Women's World Chess Championship to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia from 9 November (arrivals) to 3 December 2012 (departures). 

FIDE is also publishing the initial list of qualifiers as per regulations. The full technical regulations of the event are in the FIDE handbook. You can see the contract at this link: Women's WCC 2012 Player's Contract. Players on the list have to confirm their participation by August 28. The women's world chess championship alternates as a 10-game match between the champion and the challenger every odd year and works as a knockout system every even year.

    Since Hou won the Grand Prix guess she gets to play the 2013 world chess championship even ifshe loses this v interesting situation
