Hi everyone,

A month ago the phrase 'exciting chess' would not have meant much. However, right now it seems to be that elusive drop of water in a desert. Like European Women's Chess Champion Valentina Gunina said lately, "It's much more exciting to watch women's chess!" here is the update on the Women’s World Rapid and Blitz Championship 2012.

The championsip will be held from 30th May to 6th June at the Sheraton Hotel, Batumi, Georgia. The event is organized and conducted by the ACP and the Georgian Chess Federation and approved by FIDE.
