I would like to make a point. It is only from the Western view that the dress might seem different but it is normal to dress like that in your native country or continent. However, looking at it from a distance it does seem that chess is growing on the planet. What we can do have is an international open where players are encouraged to come in their native dresses because by far and large the western dress of wearing jeans or pants has become universal. overall i think chess players should dress well to any tournament. it is a good view for the sport.
