Simple chess puzzle: What's White's magic move?

Chess blog for latest chess news and chess trivia (c) Alexandra Kosteniuk, 2011

Hi everyone,

A nice chess puzzle for you. This is from a nice position in the Peng Zhaoqin-M. Middelveld game of the seventh round in the recently held Dutch Chess Championships. In this position White played Qxa6 and eventually lost the game. But can you spot a nice magic move to win the game? When you have the answer just run the flashplayer to see the solution. Enjoy.

    Hi Alexandra

    congrats for your nice blog.

Nevertheless i would apreciate some more moves in the flash player solution of this chess puzzle.

    1. Qf7 i found that quite quick
    1...Be5 only move (Qd6, Qb8 or Rg8 lose quickly)
    2.Qg6 and the solution ends...

    2...Kg8 only move

And now i suppose 3. b3 winning a piece, right?
