Hi everyone,
This is the latest news from Fide: The FIDE President has offered to establish a Chess Department in the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MSUCE)! Great news for chess in Moscow and Russia.
Kirsan Ilyumzhinov visited one of the most prestigious Russian universities - MSUCE, where he spoke to the students, on March 10. You can read an article by one of the students of this university - Zarif Safoev - at this link on the official Fide website. You can also find some nice photos at the link.
