Hi everyone,
In celebration of the sweet pain of chess here's a heartbreaking chess position. Those ones with the double mating threat that leave you with nothing. (You as in the loser that is.) And, for the winner? ... yes the joy of winning but with that wee bit of guilt of having swindled the opponent.

I don't get it. what's that big thing about guilt. I would smash my opponent any day swindle or pure calculation. Come on. It's chess. Hello out there!

It's very neat to come up with a magical move to beat your opponent. You can feel upset later if you were playing your friend in a tournament.

When your opponent beats you like that it hurts for a long long time maybe forever but respect for your opponent grows. I hate such positions when they happen to me. That's when I feel like giving up chess. But the feeling lasts only for an hour. I am back to chess withing 30 minutes or so. Such is chess, Such is life. Thanks Chess Queen. As you know we share your positions and studies at our club.

I love to win and I am a humble winner. I don't mind losing because I learn more. They say life is not enough for chess. So one goes on playing. Such chess positions are memorable. i wonder if this happened in a tournament game.
