Not only did I learn some interesting things about GM Sambuev, his recollections of you from the chess school as a young student studying to become a chess professional/teacher are priceless. When Danny G. said "She [meaning you] may be watching" I just had to pass this along to you - and I passed along to the organizers that yes, indeed, you did watch :) Thank you for publishing the report on the 2010 City of Montreal Open Chess Championships. It is a long-lived tradition in Montreal that fell into some hard times for a few years. Our friends at Ahuntsic Chess Club and with many helping hands, including the Quebec Chess Federation, have resurrected a fine tradition in the City of Montreal Championnat.
